Then it says: ‘O Lord! Give him more!’ So he is donned with a suit of nobility. Then it says: “O Lord! Be pleased with him.’ So He is pleased with him and says: “Recite and rise, and be increased in reward with every Ayah.”

A Quran hafiz child is a Sadaqah Jariyah (Permanent Charity) for his parents. He is a source of Shafaa’h (Intercession) for his family.

Mu’ādh al-Juhani reported God’s messenger as saying,

“If anyone recites the Qur’ān and acts according to its contents, on the day of resurrection his parents will be given to wear a crown whose light is better than the light of the sun in the dwellings of this world if it were among you. “Indeed, the one who does not have the Qur’an inside him (his heart), is like the ruined house.”

6- Ascending In Ranks:

We all want to get higher ranks, especially on the Day of Judgment. And that day, the light of the Quran will take the reciters “Qari’” out of the dark and bring them towards the illumination, to ultimately exalting their ranks.

Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al-Aas (RAA) narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said:

The one who was devoted to the Quran will be told [on the Day of Resurrection] ‘Recite [the Quran] and ascend [in ranks] as you used to recite when you were in the world. Your rank will be the last verse you recite.” (Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi)

Nowadays, being the best means being the best in terms of worldly gains. But the believer knows that the best is the one who is true in faith. Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) has guided us towards the best by saying:

The best of you is the one who learns Quran and teaches it.”

8- Memorizing Quran Guarantees the Highest Ranks:

The Quran is the only book that gives you the secret for success in life as well as hereafter. The beauty of this gain is that it never fades and perishes. Allah has said in Surah Faatir: verses 29-30:

“Indeed, those who recite the Book of God, and who duly establish the Prayer, and who spend charitably from what We have provided them, secretly and openly they have hope in a blessed transaction that shall never come to ruin that He may give them their rewards in full and increase them evermore from His bounty. Indeed, He is all-forgiving, ever-thankful.”

  • Memorizing Quran makes you worthy of the shade of the throne of Allah.

The heat and adversity of the Day of Judgment is not hidden to anyone. It will be the time when people will be bare-footed under the adverse heat of the sun and will drown in their own sweat. But some will be granted the shade of the throne of the Almighty.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says:

“Seven will be given the shade to on the Day when there’ll be no shade except His’- and he mentioned from amongst them, “a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah.”

  • Quran Memorization makes you earn the crown on the Day of Judgment.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“The one who memorized the Quran shall come on the Day of Judgment and (the reward of reciting the Quran) says: ‘O Lord! Decorate him.’ So he is donned with a crown of nobility. Then it says: ‘O Lord! Be pleased with him.’ So He is pleased with him and says: “Recite and rise up, and be increased in reward with every Ayah.”

“Take benefit of five before five: your youth before your old age, your wealth before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free-time before your pre-occupation, and your life before your death.”

10- Quran Memorization makes you attain the company of the Noble Angels:

The Messenger of Allah said:

“Allah has angels who roam the roads looking for those who mention Allah. When they find some people who mention Allah, they call each other, saying, ‘Come to the object of your pursuit.’ “He [Prophet] added, ‘Then the angels encircle them with their wings up to the sky of the world…'” [Al-Bukhari]

“The house in which the Quran is recited is attended by the angels, and the devils go out of it. It [the house] becomes spacious for those living in it, and its goodness becomes abundant, whereas the house in which the Quran is not recited, it is attended by the devils, and the angels go out of it. It becomes narrow for those living in it and its goodness becomes little.”
