Learn Quran With Tajweed Online

Mishkah Academy’s Learn Quran with Tajweed course is a one-on-one online program that teaches you to recite the Quran with precise, correct pronunciation — the skill you need whether your goal is beautiful daily recitation or memorizing the entire Quran. Classes are taught by certified native Egyptian tutors trained at Al-Azhar University.

Tajweed isn’t separate from Recitation or Hifz — it’s the foundation underneath both, and what makes your recitation correct, accepted, and pleasing to hear. This course builds that foundation step by step, then prepares you to move directly into whichever path you’re working toward.

We also offer a dedicated Quran Recitation Course, a Quran Memorization Program for Hifz, a Noorani Qaida Course for absolute beginners, and a standalone Tajweed Rules Course. Book your Free Trial Class today and experience learning Quran, Tajweed, Arabic & Islamic Studies with Mishkah Academy from home, with 100% satisfaction.

What Students will Learn in this Quran with Tajweed Course?

Mishkah Academy’s Quran with Tajweed Course starts by building the core reading skills every reciter needs, then applies those skills directly to whichever path you’re following — Hifz (َQuran Memorization) or Tilawah (Quran Recitation) — so both paths are built on the exact same solid Tajweed foundation, whether your goal is the beauty of daily worship or memorizing verse by verse.

Noon Sakinah, Tanween & Meem Sakinah Rules

Applying Tajweed While You Memorize

For students preparing for Hifz, every new verse is memorized with correct Tajweed applied from the very first repetition — so mistakes are never accidentally memorized into long-term memory.

Curriculum for Our Online Quran with Tajweed Program

Our Quran with Tajweed curriculum is structured step by step, starting with the core reading and pronunciation skills every student needs, then building toward the confident, fluent application of every Tajweed rule across full surahs — the same foundation whether you’re heading toward Tilawah (recitation) or Hifz (memorization).

Curriculum for For Online Hifz Program

Correct Pronunciation of Arabic Letters (Makharij)

Every letter’s exact articulation point — throat, tongue, lips — practiced until it becomes natural.

Letter Characteristics (Sifaat)

The inherent qualities of each letter, such as heaviness (Tafkheem), lightness (Tarqeeq), and whispering (Hams), that give Quranic recitation its distinctive sound.

Noon Sakinah & Tanween Rules

Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, and Ikhfa — practiced across real Quranic examples until application becomes automatic.

Meem Sakinah Rules

Izhar Shafawi, Idgham Shafawi, and Ikhfa Shafawi — the parallel set of rules governing the silent meem.

Rules of Madd (Elongation)

Natural madd, connected madd, separated madd, and necessary madd — each with its own required length and application.

Waqf & Ibtida (Stopping and Starting Rules)

Where a reciter may stop, must stop, or must not stop — essential for preserving the correct meaning of every verse.

Applying Tajweed to Full Verses & Surahs

All rules are brought together through guided recitation of complete surahs, with live correction from your tutor on every letter and every pause.

Most Important FAQs

What is Tajweed and why is it important?

Tajweed is the set of rules governing the correct pronunciation of the Quran, ensuring it is recited exactly as it was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It preserves the meaning, beauty, and accuracy of every verse, and is considered an obligation for every Muslim reciting the Quran.

Do I need to complete Noorani Qaida before this course?

Yes, ideally. Noorani Qaida teaches the Arabic alphabet, harakat, and basic reading skills that this course builds on directly. Students who cannot yet read Arabic letters are placed in our Noorani Qaida Course first, then move into this Tajweed course.

Can I use this course to prepare for Quran memorization (Hifz)?

Yes — this is one of the main reasons students take this course. Correct Tajweed must be applied from the very first repetition of a verse during memorization; otherwise, incorrect pronunciation becomes memorized alongside the words. Many students complete this course before or alongside beginning our Quran Memorization Program.

How long does it take to master Tajweed?

Most students complete the full course, from Beginner to Advanced level, in 8 to 14 months, depending on their starting point, age, and weekly class frequency. Consistent practice between sessions significantly speeds up progress.

Is this course suitable for complete beginners with no Arabic background?

Yes. Students with no prior Arabic knowledge begin with our Noorani Qaida Course to learn the alphabet, then progress into this Tajweed course. Students who can already read Arabic can begin directly at the Beginner Tajweed level.

Will I receive a certificate after completing the Tajweed course?

Yes. Upon successful completion of the course, Mishkah Academy issues an official certificate of achievement, recognizing your proficiency in Quranic Tajweed.
