What Is Taraweeh
Tarawih prayer is one of the specialties of the nights of Ramadan; throughout the entire month, Muslims line up at night to observe a number of optional rakat of prayer and to listen and reflect on the recitation of the Qur’an.
This is our chance to worship Allah (swt) at night as He loves, and we really try to foster a deep relationship with Him. Perhaps this is the month of Ramadan to truly reset and recharge spiritually, without all the social distractions that come with Ramadan. What a blessing Subhan Allah! What a great opportunity!
Tarawih is a very important supplication in the life of Muslims because supplication is like a conversation with God Almighty in which we put our needs before Him and ask Him to help us solve our problems. We ask God Almighty for everything we want in our lives, no matter how big or small.
Dua is a weapon with which we can change our situation by asking God Almighty for help. Dua can change fate, so try to make dua in every situation because with dua you will always get closer to God Almighty.
Taraweeh Dua
The use of supplication is greatly emphasized in the Qur’an and Sunnah and is a way for people to approach God.
“When my servants ask you concerning me, (tell them) I am indeed close (to them). I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on me.” [Quran, 2:186].
So with this verse, we can say that Allah Almighty listens to us when we make Dua. We should always seek help from Allah.
The importance of Dua can be evaluated from this Hadith:
“Nothing is more honorable to Allah the Most High than Dua.” [Sahih al-Jami 5268]
The importance of Dua in Islam is revealed from the above mentioned verse and hadith. Now we highlight the benefits which we got from Dua and thus they increase its importance also.

Is There A Special Dua For Taraweeh?
No, there is no special Tarawih prayer from the Sunnah. There is no hadith book that mentions any recommended supplication during Tarawih prayers, including the supplication that Muslims usually recite in many mosques.
Extensive research in the books of hadith, interpretation and jurisprudence did not reveal a single mention of this supplication anywhere like the Tarawih supplication. So, be aware of the fact that there is no sunnah or recommended dua for tarawih, you can simply engage in any dua.
