In Islam, sleep is not just rest — it is a sign of Allah’s mercy. The Quran says, “And We made your sleep for rest (Surah An-Naba, 78:9). Just like eating and praying, sleeping also has manners and du’as. Our Prophet ﷺ taught us special du’as for many daily actions — including sleep.
